8:30-4:30

Join us for a cross-sector discussion of the status of Virginia’s surface and groundwater resources and planning for the future based on anticipated changes due to climate change, population growth, agriculture and development needs. We will also address changing irrigation needs and water as an emergency management issue. This is the annual meeting for the Soil and Water Conservation Society of Virginia, an in-service training for Virginia Cooperative Extension, and is open to the public. This program is approved for: 2 CEUs for NRCS conservation planning recertification and 2.5 DCR-approved continuing education credits for Virginia Certified Nutrient Management Planners.
