Stormwater Retreat
Every other year, CSN brings together stormwater professionals and watershed experts from across the Chesapeake Bay watershed for this unique, invitation-only opportunity. The retreat is held in a relaxed setting where stormwater decision-makers can offer candid opinions on sometimes controversial experiences while sharing challenges and successes in the sector.
For many in our field, this retreat is a career highlight, reflecting the knowledge and innovation offered by our community. Participants include practitioners from government agencies, the private sector, and NGOs, as well as students and early career professionals.
Past retreat topics have included climate resiliency, community engagement, funding, MS4 updates, and more. As an outcome of these retreats, we are able to implement better and more cost-effective stormwater practices across all of the jurisdictions within the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
