Design Spec: Constructed Wetlands, 2013

Developed by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, this design specification (Version 2.0, January 1, 2013) provides guidance on designing constructed wetland systems that treat stormwater through shallow wetland pools, vegetation, and extended detention. It helps designers size wetland components and configure hydrologic zones to enhance sedimentation, nutrient uptake, and biological treatment for improved water quality performance.
