Learn how to apply the new ESD guidelines for phosphorus reduction in stormwater runoff within the Maryland Critical Area. The guidelines have been revised to be consistent with the MDE ESD regulations and streamline the plan review process. During the webcast, we will highlight some of the major changes and enhancements in the new stormwater guidelines, and outline some standard Critical Area stormwater design review policies. We will also describe the Critical Area Spreadsheet Tool, which replaces the cumbersome paper forms in the past, and allows designers to find the most cost-effective combination of ESD practices to meet both the MDE and Critical area stormwater requirements.
