Call for USWG Nominations!

Published on November 20, 2015

The Chesapeake Bay Program’s Urban Stormwater Workgroup (USWG) invites outstanding candidates to serve in an advisory role to the workgroup.

The USWG operates as a technical recommendation body of the Water Quality Goal Implementation Team with the goal of facilitating the implementation of stormwater controls to achieve the necessary pollutant reduction planning targets as defined under the 2010 Chesapeake Bay TMDL and to support the efforts of the Workgroup members’ state and local stormwater initiatives.
The workgroup is currently seeking applications for “Local Government Implementers” and “At-Large Members” both of which are described in more detail in the Governance Policy of the Urban Stormwater Group.
If you’d like to toss your hat into the ring, please follow this link and apply. You will need to share some basic information about yourself, indicate which membership position you are applying for and submit a 1-page cv describing your qualifications. One page only please!
Nominations will be accepted until December 18, 2015 @ 5:00pm EST.
