Handling ESD at Redevelopment Sites in Maryland

Published on June 10, 2010

June 10, 2010

Presented by Chesapeake Stormwater Network

Providing ESD at certain redevelopment sites can be challenging given the new Maryland Stormwater rules. This webcast will review the challenges and special design approaches needed to effectively comply with ESD requirements at redevelopment sites, and review state of the art, ultra-urban stormwater practices. The webcast will also highlight effective strategies for pricing stormwater mitigation fees when full on-site compliance is not possible, and how localities can structure their programs to ensure an equivalent amount of pollutant and runoff reduction is achieved elsewhere in the same watershed
