Runoff Reduction Method Revisited: DOEE Report

Developed for the District of Columbia Department of Energy & Environment by the Chesapeake Stormwater Network and partners, this technical report (September 2018) updates and expands the Runoff Reduction Method by synthesizing post-2007 BMP performance research. It helps stormwater designers, regulators, and watershed modelers evaluate updated runoff volume and pollutant reduction assumptions for practices such as bioretention, permeable pavement, green roofs, and other LID systems, with attention to newer design enhancements like internal water storage and soil media amendments.
