Recommendations of the Expert Panel to Define Removal Rates for Floating Treatment Wetlands in Existing Wet Ponds-LONG

This report (2016), prepared by the Chesapeake Stormwater Network and the Chesapeake Research Consortium, establishes methods for estimating pollutant removal from floating treatment wetland (FTW) retrofits installed in existing stormwater ponds. It provides performance criteria and removal rate curves based on raft coverage, helping practitioners quantify incremental nutrient and sediment reductions and support consistent crediting under the Chesapeake Bay TMDL.
