Developed by the Chesapeake Stormwater Network for the Chesapeake Bay Program Urban Stormwater Work Group, this technical memo (January 5, 2021) clarifies and streamlines crediting approaches for impervious cover disconnection (ICD) and removal (ISR) practices within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Model. It helps state and local practitioners and model users distinguish between practice types, apply consistent reporting methods, and improve the accuracy and usability of BMP crediting in CAST and related tracking systems.
