Developed by San Mateo County (first edition 2009), this design guidebook provides best practices for integrating green infrastructure into streetscapes and parking areas to manage stormwater runoff through infiltration, bioretention, permeable surfaces, and landscape-based treatments. It helps designers, planners, and engineers apply low-impact development strategies to reduce runoff, improve water quality, and create more sustainable and multi-functional urban public spaces.
